*** Am I still
Alive? ***
I touch the roses, but I can`t sense the thorns.
I see the stars, but I don`t feel the darkness around
I feel the breeze, but I can’t feel the chill
in it.
Am I still Alive?
No! Your smile stopped my breath
And your beauty stole my heart
Just imagine all this!!!
You are sleeping in a pool with many a tide
Swaying gently from side to side
Swaying so gently, in rhythm
As a heavy fruit dangling to a tender stem
You`re covered by a blanket
Out of rose petals, it was finely knit
A blanket so soft and so light
Just as a bird`s feathers art
Every few seconds, a warm
breeze blows
Spreading fragrance as it
comes,
A fragrance, so loving that
You breathe-in till you
fill your gut
From somewhere you faintly hear
Birds singing in
full gear
Songs those are full of rhythm
Just as a hasty brook`s hum
Patting you so gentle, with
warmth
Just as a rain drop
touching the earth
With each vibration you hear a ring-ring
Just as the trees rustling
A ring-ring sound just as loving
As the sky that is drizzling
And you feel something
Between your lips, flowing
Something as sweet as nectar
And as yummy as butter
All of a sudden it becomes bright
And you see a gleam of light
A gleam of light, so soothing to your heart
As beams of moonlight to a river bank art
In that light you see an angel and
feel delighted
She brushes hair off your forehead
To give you a lovely kiss,
A kiss that gives you an everlasting bliss
This is not a dream my dear!!
Nor it is a fairy-tale to hear
It is but tale of your birth
About your day-one on this earth
You were sleeping----in your mother`s lap
Swaying--------- on her rocking legs
Swaying--------- on her rocking legs
Covered by-----------------her soft saree
Breathing--------------- her warm breath
Listening to ----------------- her rhythmic lullaby
The big flowers patting you----------- her gentle hands
The ring-ring sound-------------her bangles jingling as she pats you
Between your lips, flows-------------------------------her milk
Between your lips, flows-------------------------------her milk
The gleam of
light------------her loving smile filled with pride
